I have been a Buffalo Bills season ticket holder since 2020 and, with my PSL begrudgingly 'in hand', I will be in the building on opening night for the first game at the new Highmark Stadium. I created and ran a competitive fantasy hockey league for fifteen years before my interests led me to reassess my time commitments. I mainly follow the NFL and NHL but I have an appreciation for many sports... I very rarely watch baseball on television but nothing beats a summer day at the ballpark and I'll catch a soccer or tennis match when the opportunity presents itself. I'm from a sports town and have always reveled in the electric atmosphere and camaraderie that sports provide... ask any Buffalonian and chances are, whether they watch sports or not, they'll tell you that the city is a different place when the Bills and Sabres are having successful seasons.

I'll be upfront: I haven't distilled sports through an astrological lens just yet. This is the frontier! I am excited to explore this arena in greater detail once I return from UAC and have taken my certification exam. In the meantime, I am keeping a journal of sports-related ideas and blog posts to explore once studying for certification doesn't take up so much space on my plate. The reader who joins this section early gets to come along from the beginning as I learn to apply these techniques to something I have cared about my entire life.

The material is deep. Looking at the natal charts of draft picks is enticing... the blue chips, the busts, the All-Stars who fell in their draft classes. Synthesizing the NFL schedule by team and division is another angle I want to explore. The general structure of the NFL schedule is determined years in advance and it would be interesting to see whether certain alignments favor certain teams on a season-by-season basis. Pulling charts for incredible moments in sports history is a well that will never run dry. I'd be remiss if I didn't say that the Buffalo Bills are perhaps the single driving reason motivating me to learn electional astrology. Every Bills fan in Western New York and across the world is waiting for that first Super Bowl victory and I would relish the opportunity to analyze a given season once I've learned more about electional techniques.

I know this is probably the category where people go "wait, really?" and that's fine. I've witnessed many a gambler place a wager on hunches with far less basis than astrology. The nice thing about sports is that there are libraries worth of astrologically relevant data... location of the contest, the very minute a match began, birth data for players and franchises alike, so on and so forth. One would have to adjust to the mean, of course; a memorable game is one thing (and highly variable), a record-breaking season is another matter altogether. It is also worth noting that the sky above is the same for both teams on the field below, and I want to research that angle in greater detail before drawing conclusions.

This section is where the study begins. If you're a sports fan who is curious enough to see what the charts have to say... well, get your popcorn ready.
